Discover the key ultrasound and anatomical landmarks that bring clarity and confidence to your musculoskeletal imaging.
This edition is designed to refine your orientation and localization skills across the spine and extremities, helping you elevate your precision in both diagnosis and intervention.

Experience an innovative teaching format built on over 17 years of sonoanatomical and interventional training at the University of Barcelona. With small-group workshops, hands-on practice, and direct interaction with expert tutors, you’ll benefit from a uniquely personalized learning environment — supported by EULAR faculty and a multidisciplinary team of specialists.

What is sonoanatomy?

Sonoanatomy is an interactive and multidisciplinary course organized by Instituto Poal de Reumatología at the University of Barcelona generally under the umbrella of Eular and Euroson. It showcases advances in the understanding of sonoanatomy. We focus on personalized small group “hands-on” tutorials and workshops aimed at the level of the participants with:

  • Clinical relevant topics
  • Multidisciplinary and interactive approach
  • Experienced faculty members
  • Personalized training
  • Hands-On Practicality

This course provides a unique and comprehensive journey, starting with applied clinical anatomy and advancing to a deep understanding of ultrasound imaging. You will explore various guided intervention techniques and engage in a detailed study of key pathological conflict areas within the musculoskeletal system, equipping you with valuable insights and practical skills.

Break through the sonoanatomical barriers with our world-renowned faculty covering anatomy in a course designed to be highly practical and personalized, allowing doctors to actively practice and hone their ultrasound skills.

We avoid large auditorium lectures. Enjoy individualized attention with our commitment to personalized guidance throughout the program. We have been training healthcare professionals for almost two decades. Since its inception in 2007, Sonoanatony has received overwhelmingly positive reviews/feedback each year.

Join us for an immersive learning experience that goes beyond the basics, empowering you to apply ultrasound techniques confidently in your day-to-day clinical practice.

Sonoanatomy: XVIII Edition

The 18th edition of Sonoanatomy offers an innovative, hands-on learning experience centered on ultrasound and anatomical landmarks essential for accurate musculoskeletal imaging of the spine and extremities. Master standardized, landmark-based techniques for the ultrasound assessment of spinal muscles, ligaments, fasciae and joints. Build a structured approach to the complex anatomy of the upper and lower limbs using landmark-driven ultrasound techniques.

The course emphasizes small-group workshops on cadaver specimens and live models, providing an interactive and practical approach derived from over 17 years of ultrasound education at the University of Barcelona.
